Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Perla Nera, I found a delightful balance between value and comfort. Co-owner Signora Daniela went above and beyond to ensure a warm welcome, sharing valuable insights about the hotel and the charming city of Imperia. The location truly shines; it’s easily accessible and positioned perfectly for local delights. The guest house itself boasts well-appointed rooms with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a mini-fridge stocked with essentials. I particularly appreciated the availability of coffee, tea, and snacks—a small touch that made a significant difference. Plus, the house shoes provided just added to the homely atmosphere. Not to be overlooked, the breakfast included a lovely coupon for a nearby coffee bar, giving me a taste of local life. Although Perla Nera is not an extravagant hotel, it efficiently caters to needs through amenities like free wi-fi and a relaxed leisure room, making it great for travelers seeking comfort without breaking the bank. David, the host, was friendly and helpful, even arranging a paid shuttle service for my return to the train station. Perla Nera offers a cozy and artful experience while retaining excellent value for the well-travelled.
